We are going to show you the Jeti-Oguz gorge. We will stay at yurts, taste national meal, and will enjoy the beauties of nature. This mountain valley was created by the river of the same name that flows down to the Issyk-Kul Lake from the north slopes of the Terskey Ala-Too ridge. The famous spa is situated here in the valley at a height of 2200 m. It is a spa with hydrosulfuric thermal water. Its health-giving properties were known since earliest times. Surroundings of the spa are very spectacular. There are two especially famous rocky ensembles – “Broken Heart” and “Seven Bulls”. They are located in the part of low-mountain ridge, formed of Tertiary (Paleogene) red sediments.
Massive green fir forests on the red slopes create majestic contrast scenery. Here you can also find a beautiful place – Kok-Jayik, and a waterfall – “Maiden Braid” – that are especially famous among the tourists.
The uppermost part of the valley closes multimeter wall in the middle of which rises a beautiful double summit Oguz Bashi (a Bull’s Head), the height of 5170 m. This summit is often compared to the beauty of the Swiss Alps – the Jungfrau Mountain.
Itinerary: Karakol – Jeti-Oguz – spa – Flower Valley – Seventh Bridge – to the peak Oguz Bashi.
